PROFESSIONAL PROFILE

Graduating in Medicine from Cambridge University in 1975 I held hospital posts in Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and Paediatrics before entering General Practice in 1978. I moved to Portsmouth in 1980 becoming a partner in a practice at Cosham Health Centre. In 1989 I founded The Health House Medical Practice in new purpose built premises in Cosham.

My long term interest in musculoskeletal problems and the desire to learn the manual skills required to help relieve them led me to train as an Osteopath at The London College of Osteopathic Medicine, qualifying in 2009. Having retired from medical practise in 2015 I now work solely as an Osteopath in my private clinic offering affordable help, based on osteopathic practise underpinned by my experience of mainstream medicine.
